Comment: Look at the Daily Press article from 2004 that quotes Mitzelfelt looking at Hinkley for NPLLC. Is it the County’s job to find a new location for them to expand? This is before Newberry and before NPLLC was forced out of Adelanto by $1000’s of dollars in litagation. Looks like NPLLC and Mitzelfelt have targeted us for years, all with SB County Staff and money helping speed up the progress. Also note that NPLLC still had not completed safety measures they were required to upon getting their permit in 2001. Did they ever complete them? Will they ever comply with anything they agree to in Hinkley? Will the LEA do nothing for us as they did in Adelanto? Do you trust them? Ask Mitzelfelt why he was working for this company with a record of problems on a site 1/10th the size of the one he is pushing on Hinkley.
