Comment: Helphinkley.org is a non-profit organization sponsored by the Peace and Development Fund to promote the health and safety in the communities of Hinkley and Barstow. The Organization began in 2006 in response to a proposed open-air sewage Sludge dump to be located upwind from their community. The group works through non-violent, non-political group actions to try a make positive changes. The goal of Helphinkley is to make the Hinkley/Barstow area a safer, healthier place to live and raise children. The group has 300 members and is expanding its concerns to other issues of concern in the Barstow area. We are now sponsored by Peace Development Fund to help us with our donations.
